Sparseimage Compactor
An Automator service to run the UNIX shell script hdiutil compact
to reduce the file size of sparse disk images and bundles. If you don’t know what a sparse disk image is, then you likely don’t need this software yet. If you want to learn more, please launch the Disk Utility and search its help for “sparse disk image”.

Universal binary, requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard or later, tested up to macOS 10.12.6 Sierra.
Known issues:
- Being an “unidentified developer” myself, installing the workflow file will return a system security warning. Please allow the installation manually via System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General.
- The
hdiutil compact
command will not be executed if a Mac is running on battery power, it will return an error instead. - Detailed error messages are not being displayed upfront. Please see the Console app instead.
Discogs Insert iTunes Playlist
A script to copy an iTunes playlist and paste the selected track titles and durations into the Discogs submission form opened in the default browser – either in Safari (v1.5) or in Google Chrome (v1.6). If you’re not submitting releases to discogs.com, then you don’t need this script at all.

SafariConnect
A simple applet (an AppleScript application) which activates the Internet connection via PPP (analog modem) and launches the Safari browser. If the PPP connection is already open while SafariConnect is running, it will be terminated instead while leaving Safari alone.
